how i've been wasting time lately
Over the past few days, i've been spending more and more time on Bill Janovitz's message board (bills the singer in buffalo tom). Bill hangs out, talks to fans, answers questions and so on. Geeky fan boy heaven.

New on the console
On the PS2, I've been playing the sequel to frequency, amplitude. For those who haven't played either, both are rhythm, dance, action games that effectively attempt to remediate songs as games. Both are brilliant and highly recommended.
I also just finished Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonuous. A very fun platformer that steals shamelessly from about a dozen games -- pulling it all together in a tight package. If you've been thinking "games aren't as fun as they used to be", check this one out.

So, I joined this blogshares thing today. It's basically a stock market simulator for blogs. I bought shares in Heath Row's Media Diet and Justin Hall's links.net. Fun, eh?
